About Climatebase
Climatebase groups opportunities around climate solutions across several industries. A software engineer, manufacturing specialist, or commercial hire may all use the platform while searching for organizations addressing emissions or environmental challenges. This shared purpose is more specific than a general environmental keyword search.
The platform combines jobs and company information with a separate fellowship program. Recruiters should be clear about whether they are advertising an employed role, an internship, or another arrangement; participation in the fellowship is not the same as responding to a job advertisement.
Climatebase's own account places its website launch in June 2020, following an earlier climate career fair. We have not used its promotional audience claims as measured traffic data. Location, work arrangements, and the employer's actual climate activity remain important screening details.
Our take
Climatebase is worth considering when the employer's climate work is a substantive reason to join. Explain the product or project and how the role contributes to it. We would separate technical requirements from enthusiasm for climate action, then check whether the relevant geography and specialty are represented before choosing a posting package.
