US based website jobradio.fm, a job information resource that presents digital radio broadcasts for job seekers, has just released an iPhone application to let listeners stream their broadcasts on the go.
The free application is also available for iPod touch users, and jobradio.fm states that a version for the Blackberry will be released soon.
cheezhead.com quotes Peter Clayton, co-founder and producer of jobradio.fm syndication partner Total Picture Radio, as saying:
“Mobile devices such as the iPhone are the next wave in content distribution. One thing the current recession has shown: your job is not your career. Anyone can take advantage of the actionable career management advice from industry experts delivered through jobradio.fm – all for free. And now, with our new iPhone app, all you need to do is tune-in is download and install the jobradio.fm app.”
jobradio.fm’s broadcasts cover a range of topics including career tips, green jobs, news and events. While the website does not list positions, its sponsor is US based vertical job search engine simplyhired.com.
jobradio.fm listeners can also subscribe to the websites broadcasts through iTunes.
