careerbuilder.com Revenue Up in Q2
July 20, 2010 by Alice Allan
careerbuilder.com parent company Gannett has posted its revenue results for the second quarter of the year, showing a 1.6 percent drop in revenue to US$1.37 billion compared to the same quarter last year.
At the same time, positive revenue results from careerbuilder.com have boosted the company’s digital segment.
According to Gannett, digital operating revenues increased 8.3 percent to $154.1 million in Q2 compared to $142.4 million in the second quarter last year.
The company says this increase “reflects mid-single digit revenue growth” at careerbuilder.com, which is the first quarter of revenue growth at the jobs portal since Q4 2008.
Gannett’s statement also reveals that careerbuilder.com’s unique visitors totalled 21.6 million in June.
careerbuilder.com has just launched its second niche offshoot this year – the health care jobs portal miracleworkers.com.
