Google Reveals Top Job Sites

Google has just released a list of the 1,000 most visited websites on the Internet, and the highest-ranked website in the jobs category is China’s 51job.com.

Overall, 51job.com came in at number 240 on the list, which is based on unique visitor numbers as measured by Google Ad Planner. 51job.com had 12,000,000 unique visitors, a reach of 0.8 percent, and 230,000,000 page views for the month of April 2010.

The other jobs websites to make it into the top 1,000 for April 2010 are as follows:

- careerbuilder.com (US): 384th place, 8,900,000 unique visitors, 0.6 percent reach, 370,000,000 page views.

- zhaopin.com (China): 447th place, 8,100,000 unique visitors, 0.5 percent reach, 160,000,000 page views.

- monster.com (US): 479th place, 7,500,000 unique visitors, 0.5 percent reach, 250,000,000 page views.

- indeed.com (US): 537th place, 6,700,000 unique visitors, 0.4 percent reach, 340,000,000 page views.

- taleo.net (Worldwide): 655th place, 5,600,000 unique visitors, 0.4 percent reach, 250,000,000 page views.

- chinahr.com (China): 910th place, 4,600,000 unique visitors, 0.3 percent reach, 56,000,000 page views.

The number one website on the list was facebook.com with 540,000,000 unique visitors and a reach of 35.2 percent. Google says the list excludes adult sites, ad networks, domains that don’t have publicly visible content or don’t load properly, and certain Google sites.
