jobsite.co.uk Puts Job Search on TV
April 22, 2010 by Alice Allan
UK jobs portal jobsite.co.uk is now offering its job search and careers advice via Freesat, a subscription-free digital satellite TV service.
This new jobsite.co.uk service can be accessed by Freesat viewers who connect their HD receiver to their home broadband connection. Users can search for jobs by job title, location, contract type and date added to the site – from the last two hours to the previous seven days.
jobsite.co.uk says the new TV-based service will soon be enhanced to include an interactive video interview practice with leading business bosses, such as Scottish entrepreneur Duncan Bannatyne.
“The jobsite.co.uk TV trial complements recent innovations such as our iPhone app and Jobs-By-Twitter service and will help to ensure that our recruiters continue to find the best people to fill their vacancies,” said jobsite.co.uk CEO Keith Potts. “We are very proud to be the first recruitment brand to offer a service via Freesat and look forward to further development using this technology.”
