iPhone App Released for Researchers

UK job board software provider Madjex is moving into the mobile space with the release of researchjobfinder.com’s iPhone app.

researchjobfinder.com claims this is the first iPhone app for research and insight related positions. The app gives users updates when new listings are posted and allows them to bookmark listings.

Madjex, which also powers the job boards of brands such as The Guardian, The Sun and StepStone, says more apps are currently in development. Simon Conroy, Madgex CEO, outlined his company’s future mobile plans in a statement:

“From the outset, the aim was to emulate the functionality and quality of our award winning job boards.  Madgex is currently developing a new premium iPhone app offering exciting new functionality to enhance the job seekers’ experience. Alongside iPhone apps we are also researching new apps for Android and Blackberry phones.”

Madgex launched researchjobfinder.com in June 2009, and says it has seen a 120 percent increase in monthly job application numbers since then.
