Another Asian Site for Simply Hired

Just a few days after going live in Austria, the Simply Hired job search engine has launched in Korea with simplyhired.kr.

Korea is another location where competitor job search engine Indeed already has a presence, but Simply Hired doesn’t seem to see that, or Korea’s low unemployment rate, as a problem.

“While the national unemployment rate in Korea dropped to 4.9 percent in February, unemployment remains high among certain groups,” said Sachin Shah, director of international at Simply Hired.

“Our mission is to provide job seekers in every region of the world with innovative, intuitive and effective tools to find their dream job,” Shah continued. “The launch of simplyhired.kr expands our presence in Asia and provides Korean job seekers with easy access to more than 110,000 jobs.”

Along with the Korean and Austrian launches, Simply Hired has also managed to partner with popular news and opinion blog huffingtonpost.com over the past few weeks, expanding its potential audience by approximately 30 million unique visitors.
