Simply Hired Adds Austria

Job search engine network Simply Hired has added its first new location for 2010 with the launch of Austrian website simplyhired.at.

Simply Hired says the new website already has over 60,000 available local job listings along with the social search features rolled out earlier this year.

The launch of simplyhired.at brings the total number of search engines in the Simply Hired network to 18. Simply Hired competitor Indeed already covers Austria with at.indeed.com.

“With 312,906 people unemployed in February, the Austrian unemployment rate is the highest in the country’s post-war history,” said Sachin Shah, director of international at Simply Hired.

“The launch of simplyhired.at aims to provide job seekers in Austria with every possible advantage in their job search. The addition of the new site expands our extensive presence in Europe and underscores our mission to provide job seekers in every region of the world with the tools they need to find their dream job.”
