careerboard.com Relaunched

US jobs portal careerboard.com has recently been relaunched after a redevelopment with recruitment web design company HotLizard.
As part of its relaunch, careerboard.com has also expanded to cover 47 cities using the Jobg8 recruitment platform. These include New York, San Francisco, Washington DC, and Los Angeles.
Jobg8 was launched in 2009 and aims to address the fragmentation of the job board market by creating a network of job boards, aggregators and affiliates across which jobs are advertised based on market and industry niche.
“We intend to improve and change the landscape of the job board industry by bringing together independent operators such as careerboard.com to deliver a better solution for job hunters and employers,” says Jobg8 president Matthew Hoffner.
Along with the added cities, careerboard.com has also been updated to include a member’s area consisting of a candidate blog, “Ask a Career Coach” area and a series of webinars.
careerboard.com was first established in 1997 and currently lists just over 6,000 vacancies. Listings start at US$50 for seven days.
