Weddles Winners Announced

January 29, 2010 by Alice Allan

The winners of the Weddles User’s Choice Awards have been announced, with 30 jobs websites across various fields on the list for 2010.

While Weddles says the user-voted competition covers “all job boards and career portals”, the results show a distinctly US focus. Those that made the cut included big names such as indeed.com, careerbuilder.com, theladders.com, and monster.com as well as more specialised offerings like vetjobs.com and healthcareerweb.com.

The winners of the User’s Choice Awards are chosen by job seekers and recruiters, who can select from a list of suggestions or vote for their personal favourite. Weddle’s also asks voters to provide information on the role of the Internet in their job search or hiring process.

“While clearly not a scientific survey, the poll does reflect the intensity of support sites enjoy among job seekers, employers and recruiters alike,” says Weddles winner collegerecruiter.com. “Since the balloting process is a time-consuming effort, chances are, those who do take the time to participate are passionate about their choices.”

Voting for the 2011 User’s Choice Awards is now open.
