twitjobsearch.com Launches JobDeck
January 28, 2010 by Alice Allan
Twitter-based job search engine twitjobsearch.com, which was previously known as twitterjobsearch.com, has teamed up with TweetDeck to launch a new job search application: JobDeck.
Put simply, JobDeck is a jobs-focused version of TweetDeck, the desktop application for managing Twitter. Along with the standard TweetDeck columns that track feeds and mentions, JobDeck includes two extra columns: “Job Search Experts” for tracking recruitment news and “TwitJobSearch”, which shows jobs from the twitjobsearch.com search engine. Users can also choose to add updates from LinkedIn and Facebook if they wish.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be working with the makers of the best social media application, TweetDeck, to help reinvent the recruitment process,” said Howard Lee, CEO of twitjobsearch.com creator WorkDigital. “Recruitment is quickly evolving and better tools to manage this shift are an essential part of any career management suite. Just as we early members of the LinkedIn developer platform, we are working with world-class product developers to build world-class products.”
twitjobsearch.com is a real-time semantic job search engine that analyses every tweet to see if it is an offer of employment or just a general job-related tweet.
