TipTopJob Group, an international generic and specialist jobs network, has joined the ever-growing number of jobs websites offering iPhone applications.

The TipTopJob network includes 83 country-specific domains for both theitjob.com and its sister website, thesalesjob.com. Its free iPhone application gives users access to over 30,000 jobs in more than 35 industries. Job seekers can also email jobs to themselves so they can apply later, save searches, and set up email alerts through the application.

An iPhone application is becoming a must for job boards, with everyone from long-established players like jobserve.com to niche websites like nurses.co.uk developing their own offering.

The trend looks set to continue throughout 2010, with the number of smart phone users growing in both the UK and the US, and the Apple App Store passing 3 billion downloads as the year began.
