recruit.net Adds the Philippines

Job search engine recruit.net has just added the Philippines to the list of countries it covers – a location Indeed and Simply Hired are yet to reach.
According to the search engine’s blog, recruitnet.ph already has over 25,000 job listings from hundreds of companies in the Philippines. The website itself states that 27,135 new job listings have been found over the past 30 days.
“With approximately 24,000,000 Internet users and only a 24 percent penetration of the total population, the Philippines is one of the largest and fastest growing markets in Asia,” recruit.net explains.
recruit.net has a presence in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, the US, the UK, and Vietnam.
New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia are countries where neither Indeed nor Simply Hired have established a presence at this stage, however hired.my launched its job search engine for the Malaysian market in December.
recruit.net is based in Hong Kong and creates revenue from a pay-per-click advertising system that displays targeted ads on its search result pages. The search engine does not charge employers to include their job listings, but says it does screen them for quality.
