New Job Board for Mediators

The Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR) has launched a job board it says will bring job seekers “targeted opportunities that can’t be found on larger job board websites”.

According to the ACR newsletter, the job board allows users to post their resume anonymously, which means both active and passive job seekers are able to keep in touch with the jobs market. Membership is free for job seekers and they can also opt to receive email alerts for appropriate positions. Employers can buy a single resume for US$35.00 and list positions for 30 days at a cost of $55.00.

The ACR job board currently lists around 218 positions, primarily located in the US. Some of these have been drawn from the job search engine indeed.com.

The ACR chose job board software company JobTarget to create the website. JobTarget says it is behind nearly 1,000 career websites including those of the American Marketing Association, the Institute of Industrial Engineers, and Oxford Publishing Inc.
