US company Avue Technologies has upgraded its website to offer what it says will be the “fastest, most efficient” website for US government job applications.

The upgraded Avue Central website offers a map-based search tool displaying the number of jobs available in each state and a hiring tools section detailing the process of finding and applying for federal positions. Interview tips, pay structure information and a glossary of frequently used terminology are also among its new offerings.

According to a company statement, Avue Central will soon offer a job matching feature that connects job seekers with openings relevant to their skills and experience.

“Avue Central is one of the reasons our clients consistently achieve hiring cycle times substantially fewer than 45 days, with an average of more than 200 applicants for every job opening,” says Linda Rix, Co-CEO of Avue. “With as many as 380,000 Federal jobs currently unfilled, it is clear that the old way of doing things is not serving the national interest — the interests of the people or of the government.”

Avue Central was first launched in 2002 and says it currently has 7 million registered users.

I would like to know if Avuecentral is real or bogus? Has anyone used it and successfully obtained legitimate employment?
