Enhance Media’s UK National Online Recruitment Audience Survey (NORAS) website has just been upgraded to mark the start of research for 2010.

Currently in its eighth year, NORAS is about to start research across 70 of the UK’s leading job boards to provide data on the demographic profile, working status and job seeking habits of online job seekers. Enhance Media says the results can be used by job boards to deliver more targeted and accurate sales messages to clients and candidates.

The upgraded website includes a new section, NORAS Labs, which gives visitors an insight into upcoming Enhance Media research projects, along with updated navigation and design.

“An increasing number of employers and job boards recognise the need for independent data about the habits of online job seekers to base their purchasing decisions on,” said Giles Guest, managing director of Enhance Media. “The new website will give them an efficient medium through which they can access the valuable information that the research provides.”

Enhance Media recently revealed that the number of job boards set to participate in its 2010 research will double in size. Its 2009 survey found that a significant proportion of online job seekers are now using recruitment websites as a source of information to aid their search for a new job and as a means of keeping up to date with developments in their industry.
