New Multi-Language Swiss Site at Simply Hired

After launching in Japan last month, US based vertical job search engine Simply Hired has just announced the addition of a Swiss version to its suite of destinations.

Simply Hired says simplyhired.ch had 50,000 available local job postings at launch, and brings the total number of countries covered by the search engine to 16. It will provide job seekers with the option to search in German, French and Italian.

“Because Switzerland’s labor market is lagging and jobs continue to be lost, the introduction of simplyhired.ch is significant for local job seekers—as well as for Simply Hired’s expansion throughout Europe,” said Simply Hired’s international director Sachin Shah.

Simply Hired states it has so far indexed more than 5 million jobs worldwide. The search engine does not charge companies to add their job feeds, but it does offer a pay-per-click model for sponsored listings.

The launch of simplyhired.ch comes after Simply Hired received US$4.6 million in funding from IDG Ventures and Foundation Capital in August. It added five new locations in July, and its network extends across the US, the Americas, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
