US based jobs portal monster.com has added another partnership to its list of almost 400 alliances with newspapers, partnering with the San Diego Union-Tribune this week.
The partnership has established signonsandiego.com’s jobs section as a monster.com co-branded website, giving job seekers access to a job search as well as job fairs information, local education links and local hiring news and advice.
signonsandiego.com has recently been redesigned and is aiming to become “San Diego’s home page” according to general manager Mike Hodges.
“The resources and expertise of monster.com will add to the expert journalism and existing content on signonsandiego.com making it the place to go not only for starting your day, catching breaking news while it happens or finding out what to do in San Diego, but also for a complete array of resources for job seekers and employers,” said Hodges.
“Through the alliance, we will now offer job seeking, career management, recruitment and talent management products and services that will pair the job seekers and employers more efficiently and effectively.”
News of the partnership comes on the heels of monster.com parent company Monster Worldwide’s third quarter financial results, which saw revenue decline for the fourth consecutive quarter.
