bayt.com Turns Nine, Goes Mobile

Middle East based jobs portal bayt.com has released a mobile job search platform. aimgroup.com reports this is the first mobile job search website available in the region.

bayt.com lists job vacancies in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, KSA, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and North Africa.

November has been a busy month for bayt.com, which celebrated its ninth birthday by offering free job postings for employers. Jobs posted to the website on 22 November will be free and remain active for four weeks.

At the time of the anniversary, bayt.com said it had registered 3.75 million professionals and well over 30,000 of the region’s top employers. bayt.com goes on to say that it sees over 70,000 visitors each day.

bayt.com is also running a virtual education fair from 15th to 21st November, and says that 8,000 students have registered so far. The education fair will be run in collaboration with Dubai International Academic City.
