sixfigures.com.au Tops Recruitment Industry

Recruitment Extra’s Recruitment Excellence Awards has named sixfigures.com.au as Australia’s best recruitment industry job board.

Independent judges took six weeks to choose the winners in eleven sections, basing their decision on the categories of design and visual impact, layout and navigation, and information and services. The other finalists in the industry job board section were the flexibility focused lifestylecareers.com.au and nt3.com.au, a digital resume database.

In a sixfigures.com.au blog post, CEO and co-founder Kelly Magowan put the website’s success down to its business model:

“We set out to evolve the job site model by offering a high quality service to discerning advertisers and high income earners wanting more than a transactional and hit and miss experience. Our members are amazingly talented and our advertisers are enjoying being able to access this untapped resource of Australia’s best passive talent.”

The awards saw a 50 percent increase in participation from 2008. Recruitment Extra managing editor Lesley Horsburgh commented:

“We are determined to develop the awards year after year and establish a sense of professionalism across the Australian recruitment industry to help raise the bar and celebrate our success.”
