Makeover for snagajob.com

US based hourly jobs portal snagajob.com has updated with a new look.
A post on the snagajob.com blog says the redesign is aimed at making the website “fresher, more attractive and easier to use”. There are no new features detailed in the post but snagajob.com is looking for user feedback with a survey on its front page.
snagajob.com was established in 2000 and lists hourly jobs as well as seasonal, part-time, retail and food industry positions. It is subscription based for employers and claims to be able to reach millions of job seekers.
A recent survey for the website found competition for employment during the upcoming US holiday season will be intense, with hiring managers planning to hire 16 percent fewer seasonal workers than last year.
According to comScore figures from June this year, snagajob.com was the sixth most popular US jobs website and saw a 48 percent increase in traffic from the same time in 2008 – one of the highest increases amongst the top 10 US jobs websites.
