ilostmyjob.com Launches To Help Jobless
September 14, 2009 by Emma Sorensen

A new website designed to help people who are going through job loss, the appropriately named ilostmyjob.com, has launched in the US.
The website combines informative videos with written articles to help people cope with all aspects of losing a job, regardless of the reason.
The website is free to use and designed to fill what the company says is “a void in the job loss online information space”:
“Many websites focus on résumé creation and job listings, ilostmyjob.com focuses on helping people prepare to live without work for a period of time, deal with personal stress and provide creative ways to save money and pay bills on reduced funds.”
James Beal, Founder of ilostmyjob.com, said:
“We have spent nearly 18 months assembling some of the best people in the various areas of the job loss process to provide content that people can really use. I am confident that people who are in a dilemma about their job loss will find our content beneficial to their process of getting back to work”.
ilostmyjob.com supports its efforts through advertising and sponsorships from people who provide products and services to those experiencing job loss. There is an optional free membership section where users can sign up for expanded videos and content sent to them through a weekly newsletter.
