HR social network recruitingblogs.com has appointed Josh Akers as its new vice president of national sales.
Akers, who is an advisor at elite job website doostang.com and co-founded greencollarcareers.com, will be a key point of contact for recruitingblogs.com’s clients and focus on the expansion and development of the website.
“Joshua is a respected industry leader who knows a lot about the recruiting and HR industries,” said recruitingblogs.com CEO Jason Davis. “Our clients will appreciate his understanding of their needs and commitment to the industry.”
Akers described recruitingblogs.com as a website that “brings a whole different dynamic to the space and always has. I’ve always believed in the community and I’m very excited and honoured to be a part of the organisation.”
Established in 2006, recruitingblogs.com currently has approximately 18,000 members. CEO Jason Davis is also behind Twitter based job listings aggregator hashjobs.com and recently bought online job board community jobboarders.com.
