July 1, 2009 by Emma Sorensen

Irish recruitment website recruitireland.com has revealed that their “Get Ireland Working” campaign has been very well received by both employers and jobseekers.
recruitireland.com, which is celebrating it’s 10th birthday this year, now claims to have more employer jobs than any other job website in the country and to date over 550 employers have supported the campaign by advertising their job vacancies on the site.
The campaign was launched 2 months ago and offers free job advertising to employers throughout the country. The aim was to build a one stop shop online for jobseekers to help ease their job search, while providing support to employers.
Emma Henry, Marketing Manager at recruitireland.com, said in a press release about the campaign:
“We are thrilled with the success of this initiative, this is a difficult time for jobseekers and we wanted to be able to offer them genuine support by providing them with one central online location to search for quality job vacancies. We have now built up a rich database of employer jobs and would like to express our appreciation to the 550+ employers that have taken us up on the offer so far”.
Employers that have taken up the offer have been keen to praise the initiative:
“We were very impressed with the “Get Ireland Working” campaign. It gave us access to the wealth of talent that is currently available for employers and made it very easy to fill the role required. We appreciate the altruistic sentiment by recruitireland.com, if everyone follows their positive example it will give the country a great boost” stated Ken Bagnall of Clean Communications Ltd.
The Get Ireland Working campaign will continue to run until September 2009.
recruitireland.com is owned by Thomas Crosbie Holdings Ltd (TCH) the parent company of the Irish Examiner, the Sunday Business Post and Evening Echo.
