mJob Releases Free iPhone App
July 9, 2009 by Alice Allan

mJob, a marketing agency focusing on mobile recruiting, has just launched a free job search application for iPhone and iPod Touch.
A post on the mJob blog explains the basics of the application:
“Users can search through listings by keyword and location. Unlike some apps that use something like job board APIs, we don’t send you to a mobile-unfriendly site, so the whole experience is hopefully consistent. Users can e-mail themselves jobs they like and go through the whole applicant tracking process from a desktop computer.”
mJob was first established in March this year by Joel Cheeseman, the blogger behind job news website cheezhead.com. The agency offers a range of options for job boards and employers including mobile websites, SMS/MMS campaigns, and search engine optimisation.
cheezhead.com states that the content for the iPhone application is provided by jobcentral.com and mJob clients, adding that more sources will be included in the future.
