jobserve.com Creates Global Sales Team
July 31, 2009 by Alice Allan

UK based international Internet recruitment service jobserve.com has recently employed a number of new staff members as part of a global sales team.
jobserve.com’s global online sales and business development manager Wendy Cowell explained the new appointments to recruitmenttoday.net:
“Our global customers demand a service that is consistent across their international operations and can be controlled both at the local and head office levels. We are seeing more and more often the head offices of large recruiters measuring the ROI on their spend with job boards, and demanding consistent performance statistics on each office to compare their various branches’ performance.
The head offices of these major global accounts want to know what’s going on in each market and expect us to keep them informed. Our aim is to have a presence in every market in which our major customers operate and we will be rolling out more local job boards to meet our customers’ needs.”
According to onrec.com, the new appointments include Elmar Enders for the European sales team, Lori Walker for the US, Nicole Anderson for Canada, Myles Clark for Asia and Dorota Dopierala for Australasia.
“Further to this ‘on the ground’ support, we have recently restructured our product portfolio to reflect the different requirements in each market – following the adage – think global – act local”, Cowell told onrec.com.
jobserve.com, which links to both US and Australian versions of its website, was established in 1993 and claims to be the world’s first Internet recruitment service. The website also states that it lists over 2.5 million jobs per year and sees over 70,000 unique visitors per month.
jobserve.com has also just announced the introduction of a new pay-for-performance model it hopes will revolutionise the online jobs arena.
