Ecentral Chamber Network Expands
July 8, 2009 by Emma Sorensen

GPlusMedia KK, a Tokyo-based Internet company that has operated the ecentral.jp job site of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) for six years, has announced that it will expand its reach through a wide network of Chambers of Commerce in Japan.
ecentral.jp is a unique platform providing wide-ranging recruiting and advertising features primarily for corporate members of Chambers of Commerce.
Peter Wilson, GPlusMedia’s managing director, said: “Thanks to our expertise in the online recruitment business combined with the ACCJ’s network, we have been able to build a unique place for bilingual professionals and international companies to come together. The inclusion of more foreign Chambers of Commerce in Japan is a natural evolution for Ecentral as the leading website in the recruitment industry. The site’s capacity to gather and unite such important organizations will be a huge promotion for the whole international working environment in Japan.”
Starting July 1, the Ecentral Chamber network will include:
- The American Chamber of Commerce (ACCJ)
- The British Chamber of Commerce (BCCJ)
- The Belgium and Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (BLCCJ)
- The Danish Chamber of Commerce (DCCJ)
- The Finnish Chamber of Commerce (FCCJ)
- The Italian Chamber of Commerce (ICCJ)
- The Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (NCCJ)
- The Swedish Chamber of Commerce (SCCJ)
Ecentral’s vision to regroup a pool of Japanese and foreign bilinguals around international career opportunities perfectly matches the need of the numerous chamber corporate members. “With the Ecentral Job Board, the Chamber has now a serious added value service for all Italian companies to get in touch with the best talent out there” said Davide Fantoni, Secretary General of the Italian Chamber of Commerce.
ecentral.jp is Japan’s leading job site targeting Japanese and foreign internationally minded professionals. Throughout its 6-year history, more than 35,000 candidates have chosen Ecentral to further their careers with top-tier companies.
