careerbuilder.com Launches goinggreenjobs.com

Riding the wave of the green jobs boom, US recruitment portal careerbuilder.com has launched a green jobs website of its own: goinggreenjobs.com.

It joins a host of newly created green jobs websites in the UK and US such as greenjobsonline.co.uk and greatgreencareers.com.

The new site is powered by careerbuilder.com, covers the whole of the US, and states:

“goinggreenjobs.com specializes in connecting job seekers interested in environmentally friendly jobs to quality employers. Whether you are looking for a specific green-collar job or a position with a company with sustainable business practices, goinggreenjobs.com provides opportunities at all skill levels and varying industries.

Jason Ferrara, vice president of corporate marketing at careerbuilder.com was quoted on Cheezhead as saying:

“One-in-ten employers say they have added green jobs in the last 12 months. Goinggreenjobs.com will enable employers the ability to specifically target their environmentally friendly positions to an audience that is actively seeking employment in the green field.”
