New Philadelphia Job Website from NBC

NBC Philadelphia has updated to create local free-to-list job website phillyjobmatch.com, which is powered by platform provider realmatch.com.
metro.us quotes realmatch.com vice president Rafael Cosentino as saying phillyjobmatch.com has improved search engine efficiency through using an intricate classification system instead of a keyword search. The website also allows employers to chat with candidates in real time.
Consentino told cheezhead.com that the partnership with NBC Philadelphia is one of many realmatch.com has engineered with metropolitan television stations. Consentino is quoted as saying:
“The partnership is simple, we supply the disruptive technology and pricing and the television station uses their media power to build a local employment brand which Realmatch powers. Several of the television stations we had approached said ‘no’ to the Big 3 product and ‘yes’ to Realmatch because they know they need to be different, especially now.
If you were building an online recruitment franchise today, would you offer the same thing as everyone else? Our goal is to create a significant alternative to the Big 3 in every metro and vertical and allow each TV and vertical partner to capture a significant share of the online recruitment market within their footprint.”
A statement on phillyjobmatch.com explains the realmatch.com pricing system:
“Realmatch charges employers and recruiters a resume opening fee when and if they decide to open the resume of a matching and interested candidate. By allowing employers to post for free, Realmatch has removed the financial risk associated with typical ‘pay, post and pray’ job boards.”
