latpro.com Launches Job Search Engine

Hispanic and bilingual job board latpro.com has launched justjobs.com, a vertical job search engine covering the US.
justjobs.com, which also features a social network, is the brainchild of latpro.com founder and CEO Eric Shannon, who began working on the website in December, 2005. Shannon writes on his blog:
“Yes, timing in business is critical and I would have liked to launch two years ago. Fortunately, I believe JustJobs.com comes along at a good moment and is more relevant than ever. Internet job search is still crowded with dead ends for job seekers. Our mission is to show them a path they can rely on. And that just might be a timeless opportunity.
Does the world need another job search engine? I’ll leave that question to the pundits – my personal mission is to create value for JustJobs.com users and partners. Creating value in new ways, reliably and steadfastly is our strategy for integrating JustJobs into the elaborate job search ecosystem.”
The new website will compete with other vertical job search engines such as indeed.com and simplyhired.com.
One of justjobs.com’s first partner websites is collegerecruiter.com, which Shannon named as one of his top 100 job site niches for 2009. collegerecruiter.com president and founder Steven Rothberg wrote on the website’s blog: “collegerecruiter.com is proud to be a founding partner of JustJobs.com and to again be featured as one of the top 100 niche job boards by Eric and his crew.”
latpro.com is also behind diversityjobs.com, a job search engine focused on “diversity-friendly” US companies.
