Is Yahoo! Hotjobs Over?

We’ve reported on the rumours of a potential closure or sale of Yahoo! HotJobs previously.

But perhaps it’s a more likely scenario than we imagined.

Today Cheezhead is reporting that screenshots of the new Yahoo! homepage don’t have a link to HotJobs on them.

The homepage designs show tabs for most other categories like finance and sports, but not jobs. It could be lurking under the general “Yahoo sites” tab, but certainly isn’t visible on the homepage, where it currently resides.

Maybe it’s an oversight, perhaps the designs aren’t final, and the link might be there somewhere in any case.

But as Cheezhead write: “The omission of the Hotjobs link, currently centered on the homepage, could lead to more speculation about an impending sale.”
