IEEE Updates Job Website
June 30, 2009 by Alice Allan

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc (IEEE), a professional association for the advancement of technology, has re-designed its jobs website.
onrec.com reports that the non-profit organisation’s updated jobs website now includes real-time information on changes in the global job market, job seeking and interview tips, and webinar and career fair sections.
“This re-design translates into more traffic to the site – a winning situation for employers who are seeking candidates in this professional niche,” Michael Buryk, Business Development Manager for IEEE Media Recruitment Services, was quoted as saying.
IEEE states that its focus is on engineers, managers and business leaders in the technology marketplace. Along with market news and career-related articles, the IEEE jobs website also features videos profiling employers and job openings. The website currently claims to have 385,000 members and to list jobs from 3000 corporations and organisations.
