hireflyer.com Launches
June 3, 2009 by Emma Sorensen

A new US jobs website, hireflyer.com, has launched.
hireflyer.com claims it is not a typical job board, describing itself as a job distribution site which allows a job seeker to quickly and easily create a Job Agent then begin receiving email and text notifications of jobs matching their profile.
The company says the current economic and industry conditions make it the best time to introduce a site devoted purely to helping those seeking employment and new opportunities, under the slogan “Find the right job, Without all of the Work.”
President and CEO at hireflyer.com, Bob Davis, was a recruiter in Silicon Valley for almost 15 years. Having used just about all the boards out there he was committed to building a better board for seekers and posters. In a press release announcing the launch he said:
“We conducted a number of marketing surveys over a period of 3 months and everyone surveyed, job seekers and posters, said the number one frustration of existing job boards is they’re too complicated, too expensive and they don’t give me what I want. We’re providing a better solution, at a lower cost, with greater accuracy for both parties”.
hireflyer.com will serve the following industries: Technology, Biotech, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Engineering and others.
It has applied proprietary matching technology, where job posters will only receive responses from job seekers who have been screened against the description by the matching software. Conversely, job seekers will only receive the job posting if their profile matches the description.
The company’s aim is to have a site that is effortless, accurate and affordable to use. A job seeker is able to create a profile and start receiving email and or text message job notifications in less than 30 seconds. And job posters can create a company profile, begin posting jobs to the web site and have them pushed to Job Seekers matching the required skill sets within seconds.
hireflyer.com also claims its not only speed that is on its side but that its pricing strategy is well below its competition enabling any company, from 20 to 100,000 employees, maximum exposure for minimal cost. In a curious twitst, any job seeker can refer any job posting to individuals outside the network, resulting in a credit which is used toward a random draw for a vacation giveaway to 9Beaches Resort in Bermuda.
