US based specialist website nuclearstreet.com has announced a new pricing structure for postings on its jobs board. nuclearstreet.com, which describes itself as “the premiere web 2.0 destination for nuclear industry professionals”, is now offering a range of subscription packages, emphasising that each provides unlimited job postings and resume searches.
The website’s newly added resume search application allows employers to search by nuclear position, name, or search term in a resume.
nuclearstreet.com founder Cam Abernethy had this to say about the website’s position in the nuclear jobs market:
“Nuclear power is one of the bright spots in the jobs market right now and into the future. The development of new nuclear power plants and the retiring of nuclear plant personnel has created a shortage of nuclear power personnel in our industry. We are helping to fill those positions by offering new online tools to quickly find nuclear qualified personnel.”
UK based specialist jobs portal nuclearsectorjobs.co.uk, recently launched by Clearly Jobs Limited, is also aiming to cater to a jobs market it says has been “underserved by specialist job boards”. Similar websites include US based portals nukeworker.com and nuclearjob.net, as well as international website oilcareers.com, which lists nuclear sector openings as well as those in oil and gas.
