karmicleads.com Aims to Create Connections
May 20, 2009 by Alice Allan

New job website karmicleads.com has stripped its job matching service down to the very basics. The website, recently launched by former General Motors procurement manager Nipa Shah, does not provide a searchable database of jobs or resumes. What it does provide is a free daily email that sends openings directly to subscribers, and a form for recruiters to request employees for a particular position.
Along with job openings, karmicleads.com also aims to find opportunities for event speakers, board members and mentors. Founder Nipa Shah, who is also president of US online marketing company Jenesys Group LLC, explained the website’s goals to triplepundit.com:
“We believe that over a period of time, we’ll have matched many people to key opportunities, thus directly impacting folks seeking jobs, mentoring and speaking engagements, and board positions. As we make those matches, we’ll communicate the successes through various online channels, and our hope is that it will form a strong community of like minds that continue to pay opportunities forward.”
Currently, karmicleads.com is free of advertising and does not charge subscribers to use its service.
