jobcircle.com Tweets for Companies
May 20, 2009 by Alice Allan

US based job board jobcircle.com has announced the launch of its “Social Media Recruitment Pack”, which it says will assist companies in recruiting candidates through Twitter. The recruitment packs are branded corporate Twitter channels set up by jobcircle.com that send job openings to the channel’s followers.
A post on the jobcircle.com blog explains the motivation behind the branded channels:
“Like the rest of the world, we have discovered the true power of Twitter, and more and more recruiters are harnessing the power of social networking as well. Twitter provides a way for jobseekers and employers to connect directly and instantly! However, there are still many employers out there that are concerned about the learning curve when it comes to Twitter and have not taken the plunge. For this reason, JobCircle has decided to come to their rescue by creating a new recruiting tool designed to help them stay relevant in today’s job market.”
Job postings on the corporate channels are also distributed amongst a number of aggregator job websites such as indeed.com, simplyhired.com and topusajobs.com.
Along with the corporate channels, jobcircle.com has also set up over 160 job channels on Twitter to allow job seekers to receive notification of openings organised by industry, city and state.
jobcircle.com says it has over 575,000 members.
