Greater Manchester jobs portal thejobsmine.co.uk is currently running a promotion offering seven days free advertising for employers until 19th June. The website usually charges recruiters subscription fees, but these have also been discounted to attract employers.
The regional jobs portal was re-launched in January this year. In a press release, thejobsmine.co.uk claims it is “the number one regional jobs board in Greater Manchester with over 130,000 unique visitors to the website –30,000 more than competitors mymanchesterjobs.co.uk and key103jobs.co.uk.”
thejobsmine.co.uk is owned by MEN Media, and its listings are also displayed through Channel M on television and in a print supplement in the Manchester Evening News and 21 other local newspapers.
The website currently lists 924 vacancies, compared to 952 on mymanchesterjobs.co.uk and 1,537 on key103jobs.co.uk.
