cityjobs.be Aims for Fast Job Search
May 12, 2009 by Alice Allan

New Belguim based jobs portal cityjobs.be was launched last week to address what it calls “a desperate need for fast, simple and cost effective job posting solutions for recruiters and job seekers”.
Users are not required to register to apply for jobs, and recruiters can list openings for free or upgrade to featured listings. cityjobs.be plans to broadcast its listings throughout social media, however there are currently no jobs listed on the new website.
In a press release, cityjobs.be project manager Ruben Mees explained: “cityjobs.be can be the starting point for every international company who is looking to enter the Belgium market and recruit their personnel.”
cityjobs.be is owned by Romanian web marketing agency Markability. It is in competition with job portals such as jobsinbrussels.com, which is focused on English speaking professionals, and belgium.jobs.com, which is owned by global website monster.com.
